With a prolific career spanning 14 albums, including CDs and DVDs, Santiago has garnered acclaim for his compositions, hailed as "stunners" by JazzTimes Magazine. Renowned as "a young master at both the acoustic and electric guitars", Santiago's musical journey includes invaluable mentorship from jazz luminaries such as Pat Metheny, Adam Rogers, and Maria Schneider. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award, further highlighting his exceptional talent and contribution to the music industry. Notably, Santiago holds a Doctoral Degree in Music Composition from the University of Texas at Austin. His collaborations span a diverse spectrum of artists, from Chris Potter and Stefon Harris to John Clayton and Janek Gwizdala, from Odair Assad and Gilson Peranzzetta to André Mehmari and Romero Lumbambo. He also had the honor of being the first artist to record with renowned Recording Engineer Master Rupert Neve's inaugural line of microphones.
