About This Event
Musical Style: Jazz The American Songbook has for many years been the basis for the repertoire of jazz musicians. The rich history and contributions of many of Americas greatest composers has provided a canvas for jazz musicians and beyond to improvise and innovate and create. Join us for an exploration of this profound American contribution to the world of music! Join us the first Wednesday of every month for a music series to celebrate two, once in a lifetime milestones; the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado’s statehood. This series brings together powerful music that reflects our shared heritage, evolving identity, and promising artistic future as a state and as a nation. Celebrate 250 years of America and 150 years of Colorado with a monthly music series showcasing the sounds and stories that shaped us as a state and as a nation.
