From her groundbreaking work with the Fugees to the timeless artistry of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Lauryn helped reshape hip-hop and soul through fearless storytelling, spiritual depth, social consciousness, and unmistakable vocal power. Her music continues to inspire artists and audiences across generations. Denver-born singer, songwriter, author, Creative Director, mother, and neurodivergent advocate Felisa Hernandez, professionally known as LatinSoul, brings more than 35 years of performance experience to this special tribute. Raised between Colorado and Chihuahua, Mexico, LatinSoul blends soul, hip-hop, gospel, Latin rhythms, and cultural storytelling into performances that are powerful, intimate, and deeply rooted in purpose. LatinSoul is an award-winning performer, a Grammy-considered artist, and a 2026 Chicano Music Hall of Fame inductee. Her commanding voice and expressive storytelling make her a natural artist to honor Lauryn Hill’s fearless musical legacy. She will be joined by featured vocalist Ash Ruiz, a former member of the internationally recognized boy band Menudo. Ash is a singer, performer, healer, and spiritual guide whose work brings together music, personal transformation, shamanic practices, and ancestral integration. Through his voice and healing work, he helps create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, explore consciousness, and move toward greater wholeness.
